Several vehicles collide due to dense fog on the Delhi-Lucknow Highway

NEW DELHI: Several vehicles collided on the Delhi-Lucknow highway near the Bahadurgarh station area in the early hours of Friday due to thick fog that reduced visibility to almost zero.
Hapur police reported that the dense fog created hazardous driving conditions, leading to multiple accidents.

The National Capital Region (NCR) is currently experiencing near-zero visibility on highways because of the heavy fog.
At 5.30am on Friday, the temperature in Delhi dropped to 9.6 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD has predicted a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius for the day, with a maximum expected to reach around 20 degrees Celsius, along with “very dense fog” throughout the day.
