Vladimir Putin will die soon, raging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said amid the speculation about the Russian President’s deteriorating health.
Zelenskyy vowed: “He [Putin] will die soon, and that’s a fact.”

with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss peace following Tuesday’s unstable Black Sea ceasefire agreement facilitated by the US.
Zelenskyy urged the US to maintain its resolve against Russian deception while Putin remains in power.
The two leaders presented a unified stance, urging Russia’s compliance and EU solidarity before Thursday’s crucial leadership summit.
Zelenskyy highlighted Putin’s attempts to destabilise the European Union internally, particularly through Hungary’s pro-Russian stance.
Speculation about Putin’s deteriorating health became more strong as he was often seen with a puffy face, tremors and a twitching legs.
Despite Tuesday night’s 117 strikes on Ukraine, Zelenskyy expressed confidence that “America will […] lead Putin to accept an unconditional ceasefire”.
Macron expressed frustration at Putin’s repeated reinterpretation of ceasefire terms post-negotiations, asserting that “Russia cannot dictate conditions of lasting peace for Ukraine.”
Thursday’s EU leadership meeting will address Ukraine support strategies following a potential permanent ceasefire. Considerations include deploying peacekeepers from willing EU nations, though Macron cautioned this could lead to direct confrontation with Russia.
Macron announced an additional $2bn in military assistance for Ukraine, whilst NATO chief Mark Rutte warned of severe consequences should Russia attack any alliance member.
