Vivek Ramaswamy is back on X again posting his opinions on the social media platform after a hiatus that started with his rant against the American culture and ended with his announcement that he would soon announce his future plans in Ohio — as he is no longer a part of the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency. Amid speculations that Vivek had a fall-out with Elon Musk and Donald Trump, Ramaswamy praised the Trump administration’s move against the DEI quota system, and said it ends an era of racial victimhood narratives in America.
“The abolition of DEI quota system marks the end of an era of racial victimhood narratives in America. Or at least it should. Thanks to President Trump for repealing EO 11246 today,” Ramaswamy wrote.
“Colorblind meritocracy used to be a progressive idea in the civil rights era. It’s a conservative idea today. Now that we’ve finally reached the promised land, it’ll be interesting to watch where the next wave of opposition comes from,” Ramaswamy added.
Trump ordered all US government staff working on diversity, equity and inclusion schemes be put on immediate paid administration leave in an executive order issued Tuesday as Trump called for an end to the “dangerous, demeaning and immoral” programs.
Vivek Ramaswamy is soon to announce his gubernatorial bid from Ohio the election for which is scheduled to take place in November 2026. DOGE, meanwhile, is set to expire on July 4, 2026, as the agency is expected to give its cost-cutting recommendations by that time. According to reports, while Vivek Ramaswamy could continue to work with DOGE and his election campaign, Elon Musk was not in favor of the idea. Ramaswamy’s criticism of American culture that they worship mediocracy — and hence, the H-1B program needs to be extended as US companies are in need of foreign workers — did not go down well with the MAGA and everyone wanted Vivek Ramaswamy out, reports claimed.
