CCTV reveals driver swap before Karelibaug crash

At 11:03pm, both Chaurasiya and Chauhan left Bharwad’s residence. The footage reveals that Chauhan went and sat in the driving seat of his car. Chaurasiya, who was walking a few steps behind Chauhan, however, went to the driver’s side.
After this, Chauhan is seen shifting to the front passenger seat inside the car itself without stepping out of the vehicle. Chaurasiya then entered the car from the door on the driver’s side.
It is believed that the car sped towards the Sangam area from there and eventually mowed down three two-wheelers in Karelibaug later.
