UPPCB: Ganga & Yamuna water in Jan-Feb meets ‘safety standards’

Lucknow: A day before its representative has to appear before the National Green Tribunal (NGT) over water quality of the Ganga and Yamuna in Prayagraj, the UP Pollution Control Board said on Tuesday that water samples it took from the Maha Kumbh city in Jan-Feb met prescribed ‘safety standards’. The UPPCB will also submit a report from Jal Nigam, based on the study which was done by MNIT.
