The UP cabinet is preparing to hold its fourth meeting outside Lucknow on Jan 22 when ministers will gather at Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. After the meeting, ministers are likely to take the holy dip at the Sangam, a govt spokesperson said.
“The agenda is being drawn but one can expect some significant decisions, including for Prayagraj. There may also be some announcement regarding a major infrastructure project like an expressway or a bridge,” said an official.
Sources said with cabinet ministers, other ministers, including MoS and those with independent charge, will also be invited. While they will not attend the meeting, they will participate in the ritual, the source added.
