Honourable Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.)
Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh, born on February 1, 1956, in Jalal Usman, Amritsar, Punjab, is a revered Indian Army veteran with a distinguished military career spanning nearly four decades. An alumnus of Sainik School Kapurthala, he held pivotal roles, including Deputy Chief of Army Staff, before retiring on January 31, 2016. His service is marked by numerous honours, reflecting his commitment to national security and strategic affairs. On September 15, 2021, he assumed office as the 8th Governor of Uttarakhand, bringing his leadership and dedication to public service to the state.

Research methodology
This study aims to identify the top ‘Inspiring Leaders’ in the Delhi NCR region. Market Xcel Data Matrix Private Limited conducted this study from early to mid-December 2024; organisations completed a factual form to nominate themselves in suitable categories.
Study modules
To ensure comprehensive data, the research was executed in phases:
