Stone hurled at Tapti Ganga Express train near Jalgaon station

NEW DELHI: The railway police have filed an FIR after a stone was thrown at the Tapti Ganga Express train near Maharashtra’s Jalgaon station, an official reported on Sunday.
No injuries were reported in the incident, which resulted in a window of the B6 coach being shattered, the official said.
According to the Jalgaon railway police, some passengers aboard the Surat-Chhapra Tapti Ganga Express reported the stone-throwing incident via a tweet.
The stone was thrown at the train two to three kilometres after it had departed from Jalgaon station, according to passengers travelling to Prayagraj for the Kumbh Mela, the official added.
A case has been registered against an unidentified individual, and an investigation has been initiated, the police confirmed.
