The 2025 sports calendar includes two big-ticket events in cricket – the Champions Trophy for men and the women’s ODI World Cup in India. At the end of the calendar year, England will travel to Australia for the historic Ashes series. In football, FIFA will host the Club World Cup in a revamped format which features a massive bonanza at the end of it. Kho Kho gets its first-ever World Cup to be played in January.
Elsewhere, there is the usual business in the form of four Grand Slams, World Athletics Championships, F1 races throughout the season and title clashes in European football.
