Samsung has announced the date of its first flagship smartphone launch event of 2025. The company has revealed that the Galaxy Unpacked event 2025 will take place on January 22, 2025 where the company will launch the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. The company will host the physical launch event in San Jose, US. Samsung is said to launch three smartphones under the series — Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The new Galaxy S series is about to set the bar once again for mobile AI experiences now and into the future. On January 22, Samsung Electronics will host Unpacked in San Jose. The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. GMT and 7 p.m. CET,” said the company.
The launch event will begin at 11.30 PM IST and will be live streamed on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and the company’s official YouTube channel.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series pre-reservation beings in India
Samsung has begun accepting pre-reservations for its upcoming smartphone in India via the Samsung India Store. Customers can reserve their spot by paying a token amount of Rs. 1999. As a reward for pre-booking, Samsung promises benefits worth Rs. 5000. While the official launch date and pricing in India remain undisclosed, Samsung has confirmed that pre-reservations will be open until January 22, 2024, or until the actual pre-booking phase commences
Samsung Galaxy S25 series expected specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is still under development, so concrete specifications are scarce. However, based on rumours and industry trends, here are some anticipated features:
