Salman Khan installs bulletproof glasses at Bandra house amid threats from gangsters
Following a revelation in a chargesheet about a plot to kill Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, bulletproof glasses were installed at his Mumbai residence. The chargesheet indicated Khan was the Bishnoi gang’s primary target. While earlier, gunmen fired shots at his house, the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique was a fallback plan after failing to assassinate Khan.

NEW DELHI: Following the revelation in Mumbai Police’s chargesheet about a plot to kill Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, bulletproof glasses were installed at his house in the upscale Galaxy Apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai.
The installation of these security measures on the balcony and windows comes a day after details of a conspiracy to eliminate the actor emerged from the 4,590-page chargesheet in the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique.

Earlier this year, in April, two gunmen on a motorcycle had fired shots at Salman Khan’s residence.
The actor, in his statement to the police, identified gangster Lawrence Bishnoi as the prime suspect behind the firing. He believes the attack was an attempt on his life and that of his family.

Interestingly, the chargesheet in Baba Siddique murder case reveals that Salman Khan was the intended primary target of the Bishnoi gang, with the NCP leaders’s murder being a fallback plan after an earlier attempt to eliminate Khan failed due to his heavy security.
According to the chargesheet, the murder of Siddique, which took place on October 12, last year, was orchestrated by Bishnoi as part of his broader strategy to expand his criminal empire.

The chargesheet outlined that Siddique was targeted because of his alleged association with Salman and his supposed ties to international terrorist Dawood Ibrahim.
The Bishnoi gang had initially intended to target either Siddique or his son, Zeeshan, during the Ganpati visarjan process, but the plan was foiled when neither participated in the event.
The chargesheet names 26 individuals who have been arrested in connection with the murder, and also identifies three absconding suspects: Mohammad Yasin Akhtar alias Sikandar, Shubham Lonkar alias Shubbu, and Anmol Singh Bishnoi alias Bhanu.
