Meanwhile, though Saif is back as his condition is stable, he needs a lot of rest as advised by the doctors. According to IANS, the actor had sustained three injuries – two on his hand and one on his neck, with the most severe injury near his spine.
During his treatment, the sharp object lodged in his spine was removed and the damage was repaired, only then Saif was moved from the ICU to a special room. As of now, his recovery seems to be at a good pace, but as aforementioned, it is essential for the actor to not strain himself and take as much rest as possible.
While Saif is recovering from his injuries, the Mumbai police is doing its due diligence in the matter. The prime suspect in the case was arrested on Sunday, and according to the police statement, he is reportedly an illegal immigrant from Bangladesh. Reports also say that he confessed to the crime and revealed his motive for the break-in was only robbery and he had no intent of harming Saif Ali Khan. In his defence, he didn’t even know it was Saif’s house in the first place.
