Saif Ali Khan stabbing case: New CCTV footage shows intruder entering actor's residence before attack
CCTV caught intruder entering Saif Ali Khan’s residence

NEW DELHI: A new CCTV footage surfaced showing the suspect going upstairs of Saif Ali Khan’s plush apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra area in the wee hours of Thursday.
The footage, time stamped at 1:37am, showed suspect’s face covered with a scarf. The suspect was also carrying a bag.

A CCTV footage from the previous day clearly shows the attacker’s face as he is seen escaping the actor’s residential complex, going downstairs.

Khan received six stab injuries in the incident that took place around 2am, was rushed to a Lilavati Hospital of the city, where he underwent an emergency surgery.
Mumbai Police said that they have taken possession of the portion extracted from Saif Ali Khan’s back while a part of the blade is still to be recovered.
He has been shifted out of the ICU to a special ward at Lilavati Hospital.
Meanwhile, Mumbai police nabbed the intruder on Friday after a massive manhunt as 20 teams combed the city.
The incident occurred at around 2:30am at Saif’s 11th-floor flat in the upscale ‘Satguru Sharan’ building. According to police, the attacker confronted a maid inside the residence before a violent altercation broke out.
Saif, attempting to de-escalate the situation, was stabbed multiple times.
The assailant fled the scene armed with a wooden stick and a long Hexa blade, which he used during altercation.
