NEW DELHI: Renowned urologist Dr George P Abraham was found dead at his farmhouse in Kerala‘s Nedumbassery, police said on Monday.
The body of the senior surgeon was discovered suspended at his farmhouse within the jurisdiction of Nedumbassery police station on Sunday night.
Dr Abraham, renowned for his expertise in managing complex urological surgical cases, was associated with a prominent private healthcare facility in Kochi.
Hospital officials confirmed that he had performed more than 2,500 kidney transplant surgeries during his career.
The authorities have moved his remains to a private medical facility in Angamaly for subsequent procedures.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
