Owner of Goa paragliding co held after death of two

Goa police Sunday arrested the owner of Hike ‘n’ Fly, after a woman tourist from Maharashtra and a paraglider operator from Nepal died while paragliding at Keri plateau on Saturday evening. The paragliding activity was being run by Hike ‘n’ Fly.
“Shekhar Raizada was produced before judicial magistrate first class and remanded to five days police custody,” Mandrem PI Sherif Jaques told TOI. Police booked Raizada, who, without obtaining permission from the appropriate authority, knowingly allowed his paraglider pilot to conduct the paragliding activities with the tourist.
