NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency has conducted searches at 12 sites in Jammu on Wednesday regarding an investigation into cross-border terrorist infiltration.
Officials confirmed that the operations commenced in this morning, with coordinated efforts between police and security forces, following specific intelligence inputs.

The operation targets locations associated with OGWs and hybrid terrorists. The authorities are also examining premises linked to supporters and members of these organisations as part of their enforcement action.
The agency initiated case RC-04/2024/NIA/JMU following directives from the home Ministry on October 24, after receiving intelligence about Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed operatives entering Indian territory via the International Border and Line of Control.
Local OGWs and terror associates based in Jammu’s villages aided these infiltrations by providing essential support, including accommodation, sustenance, and financial assistance to the terrorists.
The investigation continues to progress.
In November 2023, the anti-terror agency conducted comparable searches related to this case, during which they collected substantial evidence from suspects’ locations.
