The NBA Analyst for ESPN, Stephen A. Smith regrets voting for the Democratic Party. Donald Trump belongs to the Republican party. Yet, he shocked the audience with his views on how Donald Trump safeguarded his return to the White House.
The NBA Analyst has been far too vocal with his political opinions lately. He even said that in the next election for the President in 2028, the Democrats will sink further and won’t be able to stand a chance against J. D. Vance.
The NBA Commentator’s swift shift from anti-Donald Trump to pro-Donald Trump is worth noticing. He’s been a constant oppositional supporter of Donald Trump all his life, but now, ever since Donald Trump has taken the U.S. Presidential seat, Stephen A. Smith has developed fandom feelings for him.
Stephen A. Smith’s way of showering immense support for Donald Trump
In Bill Maher’s show, the NBA Analyst sat right beside the Republican congressman Ro Khanna. Bill asked a tricky question to Smith. ‘What were his views on the recent Presidential elections?’
Smith diligently replied,
“The man (Donald Trump) was impeached twice, he was convicted on 34 felony counts and the American people still said ‘he’s closer to normal than what we see on the left’.”
“Why? Because when you talk about the transgender community, for example, and you’re talking about issues that pertain to less than one percent of the population, the Democratic party came across as if that was more of a priority than other issues.”
“So when he shows up on week one on Capitol Hill, he says, ‘This is what we’re going to do through an executive order’ even though it’s going to be shot down through the courts. But he’s saying, ‘I kept my promise’.
“Then you turn around and look at the left and you say ‘What promises did you keep?’” voices Stephen A. Smith in Bill Maher’s show
Smith continues his undying support for Donald Trump, and says, “What voter out there can look at the Democratic party and say, ‘There’s a voice for us, somebody who speaks for us, that goes up on Capitol Hill and fights the fights that we want them fighting on our behalf.’”
They didn’t do that and that’s why their behinds are home, and that man is back in the White House. He’s doing what he said he was going to do. He promised you he was going to do these things and he walked into the office and that’s exactly what he’s doing.’
