TV actress Muskan Nancy James, who married Prashant Motwani (actress Hansika Motwani’s brother) in December 2020, has lodged a police complaint against him, her mother-in-law Jyoti Motwani and sister-in-law Hansika. The FIR was registered at Amboli police station on December 18 under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506, and 34 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

According to the FIR, Muskan has alleged that her mother-in-law and sister-in-law interfered extensively in her marriage, to the point of straining her relationship with her husband. She accused the three of demanding expensive gifts and money and fraudulent actions involving property. Muskan also alleged that she experienced domestic violence, which caused her stress that led to her developing Bell’s Palsy. The couple began staying separately over two years ago.
When contacted, Muskan said, “Yes, an FIR has been registered against Prashant, Hansika and Jyoti Motwani. I have sought legal assistance now. At this point, I am not at liberty to comment further.”
While Hansika didn’t respond to our text message, Prashant said, “I am not in the country, and I don’t know what you are talking about.”
