The Democrats termed, including the winning candidate Crawford, termed the victory as defeat of Tesla CEO and the world’s richest man Elon Musk. “I’ve gotta tell ya, as a little girl growing up in Chippewa Falls, I could have never imagined that I’d be taking on the richest man in the world for justice in Wisconsin,” Crawford told supporters in her victory speech late Tuesday. “And we won!”

“Wisconsin beat the billionaire,” wrote Tim Waltz

“Elon tried to buy this seat. Wisconsin voters proved it wasn’t for sale. Congratulations, Judge Crawford!,” said a post from the official handle of Democrats. “”He wore the cheesehead hat in WI. Spent $20 million. Paid people to sign petitions. Paid people to canvas. Did million dollar giveaways. A rally. TV interviews. But I guess people in Wisconsin didn’t appreciate an oligarch trying to buy their civil liberties,” said Ron Filipkowsk.

“Crawford: I never could have imagined that I’d be taking on the richest man in the world for justice in Wisconsin. And we won,” went another Twitter post quoting Crawford.

Shea Jordan Smith wrote, “Elon Musk put on a cheesehead, threw $20 million at Wisconsin, and still got dunked on. He paid people to collect signatures, paid people to canvas, and even tried bribing voters with million-dollar giveaways. Judge Susan Crawford easily defeated Musk’s handpicked candidate.”

“You can’t buy Wisconsin.”
