BHOPAL: A dead newborn clamped in its jaws, a street dog was seen roaming around Rewa town of Madhya Pradesh, 540km from Bhopal. A skin-crawling video of this is going around social media.
Police have no clue to the baby’s identity. Three newborns have been found dead and dumped in the same district in less than three weeks, say sources. The video is said to be from Kabadi Mohalla-Jaystambh intersection and was taken on Tuesday night.
The infant was abandoned by some unidentified persons and thrown into a dustbin. The dog pried it out and tried to eat it. Police have registered a case and are going through CCTV footage to identify the mother or the person who abandoned the newborn.
