Ankita Lokhande, best known for playing Archana in Pavitra Rishta alongside the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav, recently returned to her childhood home in Indore with her husband, businessman Vicky Jain, and mother, Vandana Pandis Lokhande. During the visit, she became upset and burst into tears when remembering her late father, Shashikant Lokhande, who died in 2023 at the age of 68.
As she entered the house, Ankita burst into tears and hugged her mother, who was equally distraught. She was heard saying in Marathi that if her father were present today, she would be crying, but he is not, thus the tears came.
Later, Ankita toured Vicky around her house, talking about her childhood memories and how she had so many dreams while growing up there.
Earlier, Ankita had shared a heartfelt note, missing her father, she wrote, ‘I miss you paa, bahut sara yaar… please aajao wapas’
Even during Diwali she wrote, “I miss you, Paa, and wish you were here to light diyas with us. Your absence is deeply felt, but I know your blessings are always with us. Thank you, Maa and Paa, for your unwavering love and guidance. Your legacy lives on in my heart. I cherish these family photos, but in the last 2 pictures, wishing my Paa was here to complete it. Family is everything!!!!! Love and gratitude, always.”
Ankita is presently appearing in Season 2 of the cookery show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment, alongside her husband, Vicky Jain. Elvish Yadav, Abdu Rozik, Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, Kashmera Shah, Krushna Abhishek, Mannara Chopra, Sudesh Lehri, Rahul Vaidya, and Rubina Dilaik are among the other participants on the show.
