The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 began with host Amitabh Bachchan welcoming rollover contestant Annu Kumari, whom he referred to as the “muskurati hui rollover contestant.” During her time on the show, Annu Kumari performed a rap she had written herself, leaving host Amitabh Bachchan thoroughly impressed. Her performance earned applause from both the audience and Big B, who encouraged her to continue writing raps and suggested getting them published in a few years.
When Annu asked where she should publish them, Mr. Bachchan offered to leave his address, but Annu jokingly requested his contact number instead, causing everyone to burst into laughter. He then invited her to send the rap to him and assured her he would reach out to industry contacts to explore turning it into a composed piece. Big B added, “If your rap gets composed and a renowned singer performs it, you’ll earn royalties for a lifetime.”
Unfortunately, she gave an incorrect answer to the Rs 12,50,000 question and walked away with Rs 3,20,000. The question she faced for Rs 12,50,000 was. He expressed his happiness in front of host Big B and shared that he has been trying to be on the show for the last 14 years. He credits his mother for this opportunity as it has been possible only because of his mother’s prayers. Sumit works as a Revenue Accountant.

Sumit shares the story of how he met a female friend through social media, and their friendship lasted for 8-9 years before a third person caused a rift, ultimately ending their bond. He explains that this experience is why he avoids social media. Sumit adds that the friendship ended because both he and his friend worked for the Central Government. Big B humorously teases him about the situation, advising him to focus on self-improvement and later show his friend how far he has progressed.
The host delves into Sumit’s love life, asking if he currently has someone special. Sumit reveals that after his past experience, he has left all decisions about his future to his mother. He says, “Now, she will decide everything.” Big B then turns to Sumit’s mother, asking about the qualities she desires in a daughter-in-law. She responds that while she would support whoever her son chooses, she would prefer a gharelu bahu.
While responding to one of the questions, Sumit shared that he always believed the show was filmed using chroma VFX. However, after being on the set, he realized it actually features large screens. Hearing his questions, Big B says, “Hum logon ko kya samajh rakha hai aapne.”

I used to like repairing gadgets at home before joining the job. But my father used to always be upset when I used to repair electronic items.”
When Big B asks why, Sumit shares that his father would mock him for messing up everything and creating a pile of destroyed items. He says, “Woh bolte the joh bhi ye cheez kholta hai usko bigad deta hai, sir ab sudhaarne ke liye kholna toh padta hai.” Big B pulls his leg and reminds him how he broke his friendship with the female friend he met on social media, He says, “Un vyakti ko bhi bigaad diya kholne ke baad.” Everyone bursts into laughter.
