Fox News host Laura Ingraham called vice president Kamala Harris a sore loser for not inviting JD Vance and his wife for a tour to the Vice President’s house at the US Naval Observatory. From cropping Donald Trump out of a group photo of Jimmy Carter’s funeral to not inviting the new occupants of the VP house for an advanced tour for their benefits, Kamala Harris has still not got over the November defeat, the Trump supporter host said.
CBS News reported that Harris did not invite JD Vance for an advanced tour and it was Usha Vance whop reached out to the staff of Doug Emhoff to know about how to childproof the apartment as all three of the Vances’ children are below eight. Initially, the reach out was rebuffed, the CBS News said though later Usha Vance was given required information about the apartment by the Navy that maintains the house. Doug Emhoff spoke to incoming second lady Usha for 45 minutes last week as well.
For Harris’s team, this was not a departure as Harris too did not receive an official tour of the residence from Mike Pence who called her on January 14 and congratulated as Donald Trump did not concede the election. But Pence’s team said Pence secretly invited Harris and Emhoff for a tour without Trump’s knowledge.
“Not everyone is excited,” Ingraham observed. “Enter sore loser Kamala Harris. She’s bucking tradition and not inviting JD Vance to the VP’s residence before he moves in. She also went viral after posting a photo from Jimmy Carter’s funeral. Here it is. She’s in it along with Biden, Bush, and Obama. But the guy standing next to Obama? He’s cropped out. That guy was Donald Trump. It looks like someone still hasn’t gotten over November’s defeat.”
As Laura Ingraham welcomed Clay Travis, she said, “Clay, weren’t the Democrats the ones who said Trump couldn’t accept the results of the last election, but they’re supposed to be our moral superiors I understand?”
“Oh, totally they are,” Travis responded. “And let’s start with Kamala not inviting JD Vance to the vice president’s residence. He’s got three kids is my understanding. He’s got a wife who’s having to relocate all that whole family. Anybody who’s ever moved a family, it’s the bare minimum to allow them to come in and actually see the place before they arrive. It’s the height of petty.”
