Did Joe Rogan speak about these LA wildfires 6 months ago? Chilling video goes viral. 'If the wind hits the wrong way...'
Joe Rogan spoke about the possibility of wildfires burning through LA in July podcast.

A chilling video of Joe Rogan speaking about how a wildfire could burn through Los Angeles all the way to the ocean and nothing could be done about it is going viral. Joe Rogan spoke about it in July 2024 as he recounted what a fireman told him. The video is now viral as six months later the same thing is now happening in Los Angeles.
“One day, it’s going to be the right wind and fire is going to start in the right place, and it’s going to burn through LA all the way to the ocean,” Rogan said in that episode with comedian Sam Morril as he was discussing the wildfire threat.
“These fires are so big; you’re talking about thousands of acres burning simultaneously with 40 mph winds. Once it starts, it spreads so quickly there’s nothing anyone can do,” he said. Rogan also wore a LAPD T-shirt in this clip which is now being seen as eerie by many users.

Los Angeles saw its worst wildfires killing at least 10 people and resulting in a huge, heartbreaking trail of destruction that also includes parts of Hollywood. The Palisades and Eaton fires — two of the four major wildfires that are currently raging across Los Angeles — have been now ranked among the five most destructive fires in California state industry. The Palisades Fire has destroyed more than 5,300 structures, the third-most in state history. The Eaton Fire has destroyed 4,000-plus structures, the fourth-most in state history. These figures could climb as more damage assessments are completed by officials.
As the Joe Rogan video went viral, social media users recounted how the Hollywood fire unfolded exactly the same way what Rogan said. X users also asked why no measures were taken if the warnings were so big. Also, this was not the first time Rogan spoke about this unnamed fireman. This warning is something he has repeated for years on his show, New York Post reported.
‘Waiting for the next fire’
In that podcast, Joe Rogan said wildfires were one of the reasons why he left Los Angeles as he was always waiting for the next fire. “I was evacuated three times from my house from fires,” Rogan said. “Last one, two houses in front of my house burned to the ground.”
Rogan said seeing the fire approaching was “f**king scary” and he and his wife decided to leave with their kids before an evacuation order was put into effect and that fire eventually destroyed 40 houses in the neighborhood.
