Former national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who left Israel’s govt over disagreements about the Gaza ceasefire, is rejoining the coalition after the resumption of strikes, a statement said, strengthening Netanyahu’s government.
In January, when he was national security minister, Ben-Gvir resigned from govt over disagreements about the ceasefire.
Ben-Gvir, 48, was known as a hardline extremist even before he helped Netanyahu form the most right-wing coalition in Israel’s history.
