NEW DELHI: India Champions Trophy squad: The men’s senior selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar picked the squad for both Champions Trophy and three ODIs vs England. Rohit Sharma will lead the 15-member squad and will have Shubman Gill as his deputy. Currently on rest, Jasprit Bumrah has been named in the squad but with a rider.
Agarkar said that he has been offloading for five weeks and they will have more clarity on his participation in the first week of February.

The selectors have picked Harshit Rana for the ODIs vs England as they don’t expect Bumrah to feature at least in the first two ODIs vs England.
The squad is on the expected lines and the management have gone ahead with just one seam-bowling all-rounder in Hardik Pandya. They have beefed up the spin department with Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav. The first three also give a lot of depth to the batting and add flexibility too.
Mohammed Siraj has been dropped from the squad.
