Ranveer Allahbadia is in the eye of a storm, and it’s only getting worse. The India’s Got Latent controversy has taken over social media, news channels, and now—WWE’s own. Former WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar, known as Sanga, has stepped into the mess, dropping a video that’s as direct as it gets: even Allahbadia’s security won’t be able to protect him if they ever cross paths.
In a video posted on X, Gurjar issued a blunt warning to Allahbadia, making it clear that if the two ever cross paths in Mumbai, not even security personnel will be able to protect the YouTuber. This isn’t just a random social media rant. It’s a reflection of the wider public anger surrounding the show and its content. Now, with multiple FIRs filed, the government involved, and celebrities taking sides, this controversy has become more than just internet drama—it’s a national conversation.
Ranveer Allahbadia faces heat for controversial comments on India’s Got Latent
The controversy started when Allahbadia, known for his BeerBiceps podcast, made comments about parents and sex during an episode of India’s Got Latent. His remarks triggered widespread outrage, with complaints being filed across the country. The backlash became so intense that a parliamentary committee demanded an official report from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also weighed in on the issue. Speaking about the controversy, he said, “Things have been said and presented in a wrong way. Everyone has freedom of speech, but our freedom ends when we encroach upon the freedom of others.”
Rekha Sharma, former NCW chief and Rajya Sabha MP, also criticized the remarks, calling them unacceptable. “Making jokes about a mother or a female’s body doesn’t look good and shows how today’s youth has stooped down to such a level morally,” she said.

“I’m extremely angry. I usually avoid making statements like this, but if I ever meet Ranveer Allahbadia at a party or event in Mumbai, not even his security will be able to save him,” Gurjar said in the video. He added that Allahbadia’s remarks were vulgar and crossed all boundaries of decency.
The former wrestler also urged the government to act. “We need legal action against people like him who are trying to ruin our society with such comments. If we don’t act now, more will follow his example,” Gurjar warned.
