JAMMU: J&K Police Friday arrested two persons and seized 6 kg of heroin worth an estimated Rs 30 crore from a village near the Line of Control in Rajouri district. The contraband was smuggled from Pakistan.
The two suspects, Ashok Kumar and Sanjay Kumar, both residents of Sair Bhawani village in Nowshera, were arrested based on the disclosures made by Jaswinder Kumar, a resident of Lamberi village, the prime accused in a narcotics smuggling case registered last year. Sonu had been absconding for over a year and was nabbed on February 5.
