A complete 4 year tenure of US former President Joe Biden has been temporarily vanished from the Google searches, according to the internet users.
After Donald Trump returned to his President throne, social media users noticed that Google had completely removed Joe Biden from its presidents lists, displaying Barack Obama’s term followed by both of Trump’s presidencies—but nothing for Biden.
Several users shared the screenshots of the Google searches and accused the company of being paid to remove Biden’s complete tenure.
One of the user sharing the screenshot said, “More WTF is happening… When you Google “US President 2020-2024″, it’s all tRump…Biden’s name only appears on the Wikipedia results on the search page. Who paid Google to initiate this SEO bullsh*t to help erase an entire presidency?”
Another said, “What happened between 2021 and 2025? The US had no president? Biden is missing if you google “us presidents”… what level of the twilight zone is this?!”
After noticing the change in searches, Google restored Biden’s name in the President’s list and attributed a “data error.”
Google spokesperson explained via email to CNBC on Thursday: “There was a brief data error in our knowledge graph.” They clarified that a knowledge graph stores interconnected information, adding, “We identified the root cause and resolved it quickly.”
This error occurred during a challenging period for Google, marked by product difficulties and worldwide examination.
