Former WWE wrestler Baron Corbin talked about a unique experience where he watched a Kansas City Chiefs home game in Travis Kelce‘s private suite alongside Taylor Swift in an episode of the “Insight With Chris Van Vliet” podcast. Recalling when Corbin reconnected with Kelce at a charity event, he said that Kelce invited him to sit in the best seats in the house.
Baron Corbin is in awe with Taylor Swift
Baron Corbin said that Taylor Swift makes everyone feel welcome on Kansas City Chiefs game days. Corbin Corbin said that he once attended his friend Travis Kelce’s game against the Buffalo Bills in 2023. Kelce invited him and his family to Kelce’s reserved suite at Arrowhead Stadium, where Swift often sits during her boyfriend’s home games.
“She walks right up to everybody, gives them a hug, gave us a hug,” he said. “It was like you were instantly family in that box … She walked in with like, maybe her security guard, but no entourage. It’s all Kelce’s buddies from high school and home, and they’re all super cool. Nobody’s got egos in there.”
Baron expressed positive sentiments about Taylor Swift, praising her humility and patience with fans and peers. “It was crazy ‘cause I [felt] like I was in a fishbowl and I wanted out of the suite,” Baron shared. “It’s just mobs of people taking selfies of Taylor and just her existing. I’ve never been around someone like that. It’s a different magnitude. You felt like everyone in the stadium is staring at you because you’re standing behind her.”
The wrestler attended a Christmas party hosted by Kelce, where Corbin and Swift shared drinks. “We hung out, went to the bar,” he shared. “She’s just a regular human being that is probably the most influential person in the world right now. Unbelievably talented. It’s so refreshing to see someone like that.”
Baron had a successful conversation with Swift, who was accompanied by her security guard but had no entourage, and their interaction led to Baron and his family being invited to Travis and Taylor’s joint holiday party in December 2024.
“Travis threw a little Christmas party [and] we hung out,” Baron added. “[She was] super dope. … She’s just a regular human being [who] is probably the most influential person in the world right now and unbelievably talented, writes all her own stuff. It’s so refreshing to see someone like that.”

The Chiefs are set to face off against the Bills again at the AFC Championships Sunday, January 26. Whoever wins will advance to the 2025 Super Bowl, where Kendrick Lamar and newly announced guest SZA, will perform during the Halftime Show.
