NEW DELHI: Fog disrupted rail services in Delhi on Sunday morning, with over 41 trains delayed, some by more than three hours.
Key trains impacted included the KIR-ASR Express, Lichchavi Express, Gorkhdham Express, Purushottam Express, Mahabodhi Express, Malwa Express, and Dakshin Express.
The cold wave persisted, with a thin layer of fog enveloping the city as the day began.
Dense fog also blanketed the DND (Delhi-Noida Direct) flyway area, adding to the challenges caused by the ongoing cold wave in the National Capital. Similar conditions had already affected rail and flight operations on Saturday.
The Meteorological Department has predicted dense fog for Sunday, with maximum and minimum temperatures expected to hover around 21°C and 10°C, respectively.
