Elon Musk’s ex-wife and Canadian musician Grimes defended him amid criticism for cheating in games. Taking to microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), Grimes said that “Just for my personal pride, I would like to state that the father of my children was the first american druid in diablo to clear abattoir of zir and ended that season as best in the USA”. She further added “He was also ranking in Polytopia, and beat Felix himself at the game.I did observe these things with my own eyes. There are other witnesses who can verify this. That is all.”
Musk responded to her post with a thank you.
Elon Musk’s gaming skills questioned
Elon Musk has always been known as a gaming enthusiast. Recently, the Tesla CEO has been criticized for cheating with many questioning his gaming skills. Following a live stream where Musk showcased his in-game character, several prominent gamers, including Asmongold, raised concerns about potential assistance.
“There is no way he played that account. I’m sorry. I think he bought the account or somebody played it for him a hundred f**king percent,” said the member of the One True King group in one stream with followers also raising questions on Musk gaming abilities.
Critics pointed to inconsistencies in Musk’s gameplay, suggesting he may not have achieved his high-level character through his own skill alone.

In response, Musk attacked Asmond in an X post which he later deleted. He wrote “Asmon behaves like a maverick ‘independent’, but in reality has to ask his boss for permission before he can do anything. He is not his own man.”
