Elon Musk once again highlighted fraud in the Social Security system. Speaking at a rally in Wisconsin, the Tesla CEO shared a chart claiming that millions of noncitizens received Social Security numbers during Joe Biden’s presidency. “We found 20 million dead people marked as alive in the Social Security system. This is so crazy,” he said. Calling it “the biggest fraud in the history of America by far”, Musk said that the real reason for attacks and burning of Tesla cars is because DOGE or Department of Government Efficiency is “going to turn of the payments to illegals”.
He said: “This is not made up by the right. This is absolutely true…The real reason for these attacks and the burning of the cars, is that we’re going to turn off the payments to illegals…I think this is the biggest voter fraud in the history of America by far. If the machine behind the Kamala puppet had won then they would have legalized all the illegals and there would be no swing states.”

Musk called Antonio Gracias on stage. Gracias, who has worked with the federal government on Social Security, pointed to the chart showing a rise in Social Security numbers issued to noncitizens from 2021 to 2025. The numbers peaked at over 2 million in 2024. Gracias said they originally investigated Social Security fraud but discovered these numbers instead.
Gracias pointed to the total number of noncitizens issued Social Security numbers from FY 2021 to FY 2025. The chart revealed a steady increase each year under Biden, surpassing 2 million in FY 2024, which ended on September 30.
“We started at the top of the system, mapping the whole system of Social Security to understand where all the fraud was,” Gracias said. “But, this is what jumped out at us,” he continued. “When we saw these numbers, we were like, ‘What is this?’”
“This literally blew us away,” Gracias said. “We went there to find fraud and we found this by accident.”
“This is a mind-blowing chart,” Musk said.In March this year, DOGE removed about 7 million records of individuals aged 120 and above from the Social Security system, officially marking them as deceased.
During the rally, Musk handed out $1 million checks to two Wisconsin voters, naming them spokespeople for his political organization ahead of the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.
