Eight people travelling to attend Maha Kumbh were killed when their car was hit by a Rajasthan Roadways bus near Jaipur on Thursday, while two pilgrims returning from Prayagraj died in a road accident in Varanasi, taking the total number of such fatalities since the start of the world’s largest religious congregation to 63. The accident took place near Dudu in Jaipur district.
