Donald Trump Jr‘s ex-fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle has every intention to maintain a relationship with Don Jr despite their breakup as they have known each other for years and Gilfoyle is now a part of the Donald Trump administration — as the ambassador to Greece. “Kimberly and Don have known each other for years and have a lot of history together so she feels like they’ll always have a connection,” an insider told Page Six.
Kimberly and Don Jr have many mutual friends and they run in the same circles and so it’s not possible for them to completely block each other. They will continue crossing paths throughout their lives, the report said.
“Although Kim is serving as ambassador to Greece she’s not going anywhere in terms of fading out of the public eye,” the insider said. “She’s also very close with the Trump family and will remain in contact with President Trump about her new role.”
There were a lot of speculations of both Kimberly Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr’s present girlfriend Bettina Anderson meeting each other at several inaugural festivities. But there was no awkwardness even though they met each other at the Hispanic Inaugural Ball. They also both attended a candlelight dinner at the National Building Museum Sunday, a day before the inauguration.
Guilfoyle didn’t feel awkward at all spending time with Don Jr during the inauguration or any of the parties or events leading up to it, the report said. Don Jr too has the same feeling toward Guilfoyle. “Don feels the same way. He still has a great relationship with Kimberly and there’s been zero awkwardness whenever they interact since their split,” the report said.
Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr have known each other since 2018, they got engaged in 2020 and their relationship ended in 2024 before the election when Don Jr was spotted with Bettina Anderson on several occasions — but none of them issued any statement on their break up. When Guilfoyle was nominated by Donald Trump as the ambassador to Greece, Donald Trump Jr congratulated her and said his relationship with Guilfoyle would always remain special.
