Contestants on the first season of Celebrity MasterChef include Nikki Tamboli, Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Dipika Kakar, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Abhijeet Sawant, Ayesha Jhulka, and Chandan Prabhakar.
Gaurav is one of the most talked-about contenders. The newest episode of the show featured a barter system challenge. The candidates were given a tray containing ingredients. Some got fruits, while others got different varieties of cheese. The components in their tray were unfinished, so they couldn’t make a dish out of them.
They have to haggle with the other contenders to receive the ingredients they want. The contestants did had minor disagreements while bargaining with each other. However, Gaurav made the show enjoyable. He took on the role of a fruit seller and bargained.
He made everyone chuckle as he attempted to persuade the other contenders to give him the component he desired. The judges were also observed giggling over his marketing and bargaining abilities.

According to reports, Gaurav Khanna won Celebrity MasterChef, while Nikki finished second. Tejasswi Prakash has secured third place.
