NEW DELHI: Two people riding a scooty were injured after a speeding Audi car crashed into them near the Jor Bagh Post Office, police said on Tuesday.
The victims, identified as Naitik and Tushar, were rushed to a trauma centre, where Naitik is stable while Tushar remains critical.
Both occupants of the Audi, who are BBA students, have been detained. One was driving the car, while the other was in the passenger seat.
Shubham, a relative of the injured Naitik, told reporters, “The Audi car was coming at a high speed and hit the scooty. The condition of one of the injured is serious, we have not seen Naitik’s condition, so we cannot say anything about him, he has an injury in his leg. Both the accused have been caught by the police.”
