Amid speculations over how his marriage with Michelle Obama must have turned rocky that the former president is making solo appearances, Barack Obama was seen in a jovial mood at the inauguration ceremony Monday. “Did you behave, sir?” Barack Obama was asked as he was exiting the inauguration ceremony. “Just barely,” Obama chuckled. This question had a background. Former president Bush was asked whether he would behave at the swearing-in ceremony before his entry. The staff also warned Bush that there are hot mics ahead so that they keep their chuckles low. Obama chimed in from behind and said, “Nope”. “I’ll behave,” Bush said with a wink. Though the presidents attended Trump’s inauguration, they skipped the inaugural luncheon.
