Clair added, “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.” She continued, “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”
She captioned the post with Latin words: “Alea lacta est”, meaning “the die is cast.” She also responded to a few Tweets congratulating her. Some with a heart emoji. Ashley St Clair even responded to some trolls. “Doxxing a baby is pretty bottom of the barrel,” she wrote.

In a subsequent tweet, St. Clair thanked supporters and said that she was going to log off from Twitter. Ashley St Clair made this post some three hours later. “In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalists. Will be spending time with my family & logging off for a while,” she wrote.

It has been quite a few hours since Ashley St Clair made the claim on Twitter. However, Elon Musk has neither responded to the post or so far made a statement otherwise, though he has posted several times on other subjects. Incidentally, Elon Musk follows Ashley St Clair on Twitter.
