Apple announces dates of its first biggest event of 2025

Apple will host its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) from June 9 to 13, 2025, with the keynote taking place on June 9 at Apple Park, followed by developer sessions for the rest of the week.

What to expect at Apple WWDC 2025: iOS 19, more Apple Intelligence, and new hardware

This year, Apple is expected to introduce the redesigned iterations of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, marking the most substantial visual overhaul since iOS 7. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple aims to create a more unified and consistent experience across its platforms by revamping icons, menus, apps, windows, and system buttons.
While new operating system versions are anticipated—including iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, and visionOS 3—the conference could also likely focus on addressing challenges with Apple Intelligence. The company has struggled to deliver advanced Siri features promised last year, with spokesperson Jacqueline Roy acknowledging that implementation will take longer than initially planned.
Potential hardware announcements might include a refreshed Mac Pro and second-generation AirTags, though software updates remain the primary focus of the conference.

How to attend WWDC 2025

The June 9 keynote will be livestreamed on Apple’s official website and YouTube channel for free. Meanwhile, developers and students can attend the conference sessions online for free, with a limited in-person experience available at Apple Park. The event will provide insights into new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
