Elon Musk seems quite angry with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his public spat with the US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. Elon Musk shared a series of Twitter posts on the meeting. “Zelensky destroyed himself in the eyes of the American people,” wrote Elon Musk.
“Time to find out what really happened to the hundreds of billions of dollars sent to Ukraine …,” he wrote in another.
He quoted a post that read: “BREAKING: VANCE AND TRUMP CONFRONT ZELENSKY: “YOU’RE GAMBLING WITH WWIII” Vance slammed Zelensky, calling it “disrespectful” for him to “litigate in front of the American media” during his visit to the Oval Office. Trump warned Zelensky directly: “You’re gambling with WWIII.” Vance pressed even further: “Have you said thank you once? You went to Pennsylvania to campaign for the opposition.” Source: @ShelbyTalcott, Semafor, @kaitlancollins.”
Responding to the same he wrote, “Accurate”.
He responded to another post on NATO with one word: “Logical”.
The post read: “President Trump says America is happy to stay committed to NATO, as long as Europe starts paying instead of free-riding. “We have an ocean in between. Why is the United States in for so much more money?”
He also shared some other videos from the showdown meeting with emojis ranging from Fire to ‘Tears of Joy’
Donald Trump-Volodymyr Zelenskyy joint press conference cancelled
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy departed the White House prematurely after a heated exchange with U.S. President Donald Trump in the Oval Office. This confrontation led to the cancellation of a bilateral lunch and a joint press conference that had been scheduled between the two leaders. Additionally, a planned agreement granting the U.S. access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals was not signed.
Following the unprecedented verbal clash, Trump and Zelenskyy retreated to separate rooms. The Ukrainian delegation expressed a desire to continue discussions, but the White House indicated it was time for them to leave. According to a White House official, Trump ordered that the Ukrainians be informed to depart.
Shortly after the Oval Office incident, Trump issued a statement: “We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure. It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for peace.”
