Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has shared his thoughts on the changes he has observed in US President Donald Trump during his second term. In a recent interview, Bezos remarked, “What I’ve seen so far is he is calmer than he was the first time — more confident, more settled.” This statement highlights a notable shift in the dynamic between the two influential figures, who had a contentious relationship during Trump’s first term.
Bezos, who also owns The Washington Post, previously clashed with Trump over the newspaper’s critical coverage. Bezos pointed to the administration’s efforts to engage with business leaders and foster dialogue on key economic and technological issues as evidence of this change.

Here’s what Amazon founder Jeff Bezos said about US President Donald Trump

Speaking at New York Times’ DealBook Summit, Bezos said, “I’m very hopeful — he seems to have a lot of energy around reducing regulation. And my point of view is, if I can help him do that, I’m going to help him, because we do have too much regulation in this country.”
Bezos expressed his belief that the president has “grown” significantly since his first term in office, noting, “From what I’ve observed, he appears calmer, more confident, and more settled this time around.”
Bezos’ comments reflect a willingness to move past previous tensions and focus on shared goals, signaling a potential turning point in the relationship between the White House and Silicon Valley.
