NEW DELHI: The ministry of external affairs (MEA) on Thursday said that foreign secretary Vikram Misri will begin his two-day visit to China starting Sunday.
The MEA said that Misri’s visit is centred around attending the foreign secretary-vice minister mechanism meeting.
The MEA further said that this bilateral mechanism’s revival is due to a leadership-level agreement to explore future directions for India-China relations, including political, economic, and people-to-people interactions.
