Perplexity AI CEO Aravind Srinivas is all praise for Google’s latest flagship phone, the Pixel 9 Pro, going so far as to compare its quality to that of the Apple iPhone. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Srinivas shared his impressions of the device, which he initially purchased for testing purposes. “Pixel 9 Pro is a really good phone,” he wrote. “I bought it to test a new thing we’re working on.

And realized the phone’s really well made that it doesn’t feel I’m not using something IPhone quality,” he added.
Google debuted the Pixel 9 Pro in August 2024. The smartphone is powered by Google Tensor G4 SoC and comes with a starting price of Rs 1,09,999.

“Pixel phones are always great in the first few weeks, you’ll slowly start noticing issues over time and after a couple of years, the performance drops down quite a bit,” said a third.
“Its definitely a good phone and I’m using the Pro XL. Some bugs exist such a delayed notifications for many apps which Google refuses to fix. On the whole the phone is buttery smooth and feels very polished,” said a fourth user.
