2025 started with a bang for Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, who made a mark in the hearts of the audience at the cash registers of the box office with their latest release ‘Game Changer.’ The movie is a political drama, that was in the making for years, and now that it has finally been released, it has proved it was worth the wait. At least that is what the box office numbers show. The movie is in its first week, and on day 5 of its theatrical release, it has crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark in India across all languages.
Game Changer Movie Review
According to Sacnilk, the early estimates show that on day 5, which was its first Tuesday, ‘Game Changer’ earned Rs. 10.19 Cr, in which the contribution from Telugu is Rs 6.3 Cr, Tamil is Rs 0.95 Cr and Hindi is Rs 2.94 Cr. The total as of now is Rs 106.34 Cr.
However, it is worth noting that this is a sharp decline from the film’s opening-day collection of Rs 51 crore. After its opening day, the movie did well, but it couldn’t match the day 1 earnings. However, it seems the movie is now gearing up to pick up a pace. The collection on its first Monday was Rs 7.65 Cr, and the total fell shy of the Rs 100 crore mark; on Tuesday, the numbers are showing growth.

Meanwhile, the movie has also found itself embroiled in a controversy. During the weekend, the producers of ‘Game Changer’ faced backlash for reportedly exaggerating the film’s Day 1 box office earnings. Initial box office estimates suggested the film made around Rs 80.1 crore globally on its opening day. However, the official social media account for the movie announced an astounding Rs 186 crore in worldwide collections, leading to criticism and mockery.
