Kamala Harris: Burglary attempt at Kamala Harris’ Brentwood home as massive looting reported amid LA fires

Burglary attempt at Kamala Harris' Brentwood home as massive looting reported amid LA fires
Kamala Harris’ Brentwood house was evacuated earlier and there was no one in the house when police received a burglary call.

The Los Angeles Police Department rushed to Kamala Harris‘ Brentwood home Saturday after two burglars were reported attempting a burglary at the evacuated home. This came as massive lootings have been reported amid the ongoing firefighting in Los Angeles. Two men were arrested but they were later released as there was no evidence that they were outside Kamala Harris’ home for burglary, reports said.
LAPD was called to the scene around 4.30 am when they arrested the two men but law enforcement sources told NBC Los Angeles later that probably they did not have any idea that they were standing outside Kamala Harris’ house. The two men were detained for breaking curfew but were released later.

Secret Services also responded to the burglary call.
Kamala Harris’ Brentwood house comes in the periphery of the Pacific Palisades Fire which is spreading fast uncontained. Kamala Harris now stays in the White House with her husband Doug Emhoff but it is this house that she will be returning to.
Brentwood has already been evacuated and the neighborhood not only has Kamala Harris’ house but also that of basketball star Lebron James and actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Harris’ press secretary Ernie Apreza said earlier this week that the vice president’s home was put under an evacuation order on Tuesday. He said no one was at the residence when the evacuation order was placed.
“Last night, the Vice President’s neighborhood in Los Angeles was put under an evacuation order,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday. “No one was in her home at the time. She and the Second Gentleman are praying for the safety of their fellow Californians, the heroic first responders, and Secret Service personnel.”
