Motilal Oswal Financial Services has a ‘buy’ recommendation on Page Industries (which is also its top pick for 2025) with a target price of Rs 57,500 (+21%). Analysts believe the company is well-positioned to capitalise on India’s growing innerwear and athleisure markets, aided by favourable macroeconomic trends such as rising incomes, urbanisation, and a young population.
Emkay Global Financial Services has a ‘sell’ recommendation on Hindalco with a target price of Rs 550 (-4%). Analysts believe Novelis’s preliminary business update indicates near-term pain and is expected to persist for 2-3 quarters. They also believe that the moderation in auto and specialty segments has worsened in recent months.
JM Financial has a ‘buy’ recommendation on L&T with a target price of Rs 3,825 (+8%). Analysts believe L&T would achieve its order book targets given the strong order announcements so far, expected announcements and there will be certain un-announced orders as well.
IDBI Capital has recommended a ‘buy’ on Patel Engineering with a target price of Rs 76 (+55%). Analysts are bullish on the stock due to its large order book. The up-cycle in its order inflow has started post Covid. It’s one the major beneficiaries of the infra capex for hydro plants and it expects bidding opportunities of over 30 giga watt in the sector.
InCred Equities has maintained its ‘reduce’ recommendation on SBI Cards & Payment Services with a revised price target of Rs 550 (-25%) from Rs 500 earlier. Analysts believe industry-led issues to weigh over valuation of the company. Intense competition, monoline product line, and rising exposure to customers with limited financial discipline to weigh over near-term NIM advantage that the company enjoys.
