Tiffany Stratton is one of the rising stars of WWE who was poised to make it big since her stint in NXT. However, a huge support system in Stratton’s life has been her mother, who has had a huge influence on her life and career.
Tiffany Stratton has risen to become one of the top-tier WWE superstars and a marquee name in the future. The Buff Barbie began her career as a gymnast and practised trampoline gymnastics for several years. Her amazing flexibility, strength and high-flying ability to make some spectacular moves led to her becoming one of the recruits in WWE NXT in 2021.
Since that day, Stratton had been poised to become one of the future stars of the global juggernaut. How has Tiffany Stratton’s mother been an influence in her wrestling career?
Tiffany Stratton had been very much supportive of her daughter pursuing gymnastics. Moreover, it was her mother who introduced her to the world of wrestling and the hardcore training behind it. She helped Tiffany get in touch with former wrestler Greg Gagne. He was an in-ring competitor who is best known for his time at the American Wrestling Association.
Later in her career, Stratton revealed an interesting detail in regards to her mother and origins behind her WWE ring name. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, she revealed that Tiffany is actually her mother’s name which she adopted for her wrestling career, mixing it up with the last name Stratton and pitched it to WWE which they liked.
“Actually, my mom’s name is Tiffany. Stratton, honestly I don’t know know where I got that last name from. I think I heard it on [The] Wolf Of Wall Street because the brokerage is named Stratton Oakmont, and I think that’s where I heard it and it just sounded good, you know? So I kind of threw it in there and then they picked.”
Tiffany Stratton’s mother became a huge driving force for her which led to the massive success she has achieved so far. The Center of the Universe recently reached the pinnacle of sports entertainment by successfully cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax on the first SmackDown of 2025 and becoming the new WWE Women’s Champion.
