NEW DELHI: Five persons were killed in a collision of a bus and an SUV in eastern Maharashtra‘s Buldhana district on Wednesday morning, police said.
A Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus was involved in a collision with a Bolero vehicle on the Khamgaon-Shegaon highway, according to a police official.
Subsequently, a private bus crashed into the two vehicles that were already involved in the accident, the official stated.
The official further mentioned that rescue operations were underway to free the private bus driver who was trapped in the severely damaged front cabin.
