Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have launched the new and updated 2025 Honda Activa in the Indian market. The best-selling scooter gets OBD-B2 compliant with new features and the price starts from Rs 80,950. Interested customers can book the new scooter online or by visiting their nearest dealership, deliveries will begin soon.
The new Activa is offered in three variants – STD, DLX and H-Smart, with six colour options – Pearl Precious White, Decent Blue Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue. With the latest updates, the 2025 Honda Activa has a slight price hike. The base variant is now priced at Rs 80,950, compared to the current model’s starting price of Rs 78,684, reflecting an increase of Rs 2,266.
There are no cosmetic changes made to the scooter, it now features a 4.2-inch TFT colour display that provides various information, including a mileage indicator, trip meters, an eco indicator, distance-to-empty reading and much more. It also gets a USB Type-C charging port which was much much-needed update. It continues to get LED headlights, and 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels, wrapped in 90/90 and 90/100 tubeless tyres, respectively. It gets telescopic front suspension with shock absorbers at the rear, braking duties are taken care of by drum brakes on both ends.
The 2025 Honda Activa is powered by the same 109.51cc, single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine. It’s now OBD2B compliant and puts out 7.8hp of power and 9.03Nm torque. It also gets an Idling stop system which improves fuel efficiency. This system is designed to prevent fuel wastage during short stops, such as at traffic signals. The engine automatically shuts off during these pauses and can be restarted simply by twisting the throttle grip.
